. Morning tIn this time of transition before the new Rector commences, the Parish has Locum Ministry led by Rev'd Sally Boothey & assisted by Rev'd Scott Holmes

August has 5th Sunday
There is a combined 'whole of Parish' Eucharist on Sunday 30 August at 10.00am at Christ Church Castlemaine as usual when there is a Fifth Sunday - Morning Tea follows
This is the only service in the Parish that weekend - There is no service at St John's on Saturday 29 August

10.00am Sunday Choral Eucharist
at Christ Church Castlemaine with Rev'd Sally followed by morning tea in Hall 

10.00am Wednesday Eucharist in Christ Church with Rev'd Scott (Morning Prayer with Lay Leader on 26 August) - All welcome

Choral Evensong & Prayer

Choral Evensong at Christ Church 5.00pm first Sunday of each month (no Evensong in August) Next Choral Evensong is Sunday 6 September at 5.00pm

Into the Silence meditation and reflection (10.00am each Friday at St John's Chewton) is on a winter break from 10 July & will resume on Friday 7 August at 10am

The Labyrinth Garden
at Christ Church is open daylight hours
for reflection and prayer

The Castlemaine Ecumenical Vigil for Peace is held every Friday at 5.00pm commencing at the Labyrinth Garden for a short prayer, then walk across to the Uniting Church Chapel 12 Lyttleton Street - The Chapel is open from 5pm if you prefer to meet the group there - All Welcome

Christ Church is currently only open at service and prayer times ~ it is hoped it will soon return to being open more often for visiting and personal prayer

Next Harvest Community Lunch is on Friday 28 August at 12 noon in Anglican Church Hall Castlemaine Come with friends or by yourself All Welcome! ​Veg & GF availabl​e A gold coin or other donation from those able to is always welcome - To park at Hall, cars enter at corner of Forest and Kennedy Streets - This lunch is held fortnightly on Fridays

Concert at Christ Church
